I just started volunteering at Danger Danger Gallery last night. It was an interesting night - it really revitalized my interest in underground music; I don’t usually see the same kind of passion at larger venues compared to what I saw last night. The musicians all had the supernova energy of two year olds and the fans danced earnestly and without restraint. It was very compelling and really sent chills up my spine and I had to think to myself - why have I not been exposed to this more? It really rubbed away any rust of cynicism about music that may have been oxidizing on my brain; the whole event just made me so happy for people to be happy, and realizing that nothing else matters!

It was sort of a pop/rap night, which was very interesting and cool to experience, but The Homophones, who are a sort of folk rock band of 6 members (I wonder how much money they each make a night after playing?) opened, and I really enjoyed them. The lead singer Jason Ferraro had a beautiful voice, wore nice shoes, and had great stage presence while the whole band was very tight and the sound quality was wonderful. They all looked like they were really enjoying themselves which was great to see. I really like the song David Foster Wallace - check it out!

I also really need a synonym (not a homophone, hah, hah…) for the word “really”.
